"Open Mic Nights "
An Open Mic Night is usually very loosly arranged to enable anyone to perform so all you have to do is BOOK early and get your name down to sing/perform.

Covers and Original music is covered of practically every style of singer and genre of music participating. They are not only a good way to practice your art is an Open Mic Night, but also can be a proving ground for new talent and material.

The audience could consists of singers, poets, songwriters and music lovers so the atmosphere should be warm & encouraging for all standards. Of course you may find the odd 'clique' but if the atmosphere is naff one night remember that these events rely solely on who appears on the night & you never know who might turn up to watch or performat an Open Mic Night!

You never know some music industry reps may attend your Open Mic Night, but don't hold your breath or feel intimidated as 'Raw Talent' has just as much validity as a honed one and your progress will be watched with interest & after all you are there to have FUN!!
